During her concert in Mexico this past weekend, Hilary Duff experienced what appeared to be an Ashlee Simpson-type moment onstage. But her peeps are saying it wasn’t lip synching.
The “Our Lips Are Sealed” singer’s rep told press, “She was not lip-synching. It was faulty equipment. There was no sound coming out, but she was singing.”
Furthermore, Duff’s reps insist that she always sings live at her concerts. This past weekend was evidently a mix up, because she was using rented equipment, rather than her normal touring rig.
Reportedly, her wireless microphone was set to mute for the first few seconds of the gig, but was then corrected, and the show continued. She’ll be continuing in Mexico, and then heading to Brazil and Australia.
