Yesterday was the latest step in Britney Spears’ deposition process regarding the custody case between her and Kevin Federline. And according to K-Fed’s attorney, it was a real doozy.
The press caught up with Mark Vincent Kaplan outside of Katsuya restaurant in Brentwood, California last night and asked him how things went with the “Gimme More” singer earlier in the day.
Kaplan told press, “We are going over things that are very, very gut-wrenching. Just to revisit them even in your own mind would not be pleasurable. It’s not something anyone would enjoy.”
And while he declined to name any specifics, Kaplan revealed that the “Toxic” mommy’s tardiness almost caused another no-show. “She was about 50 minutes late. After an hour I would have been over it. I was prepared to terminate had she not showed at that time.”
Reportedly, this was not the final deposition for Britney, however. Up to this point, Kaplan claims he’s only worked through “two percent” of his questions, saying “There is a lot of work to be done.” We’ll keep you up-to-date on the latest news.
