Jessica Alba Praised By Eva Longoria

She spent the past week promoting her new movie “The Eye” in New York City. And now, Jessica Alba and fiance Cash Warren have made their grand return to Los Angeles.

The parents-to-be were spotted early Wednesday morning at LAX airport - looking a bit unhappy at the photography coverage awaiting their arrival.

Meanwhile, both Jessica and Cash recently received compliments from “Over Her Dead Body” actress Eva Longoria.

The Desperate Housewife told People magazine of Alba’s mothering skills:"She’s going to be amazing! She has to be one of the most compassionate, loving people you’ve ever met, and she is going to raise the most awesome human being in this world!”

Continuing to pour on the love, Eva tells of the Sin City starlet’s fiance: “Cash has to be another amazing human being. So the two together – it’s a no-brainer!”

And, on a side note, recent rumors tell that Jessica was spotted picking up a few items with a blue theme. But don’t count on any official announcement - as Alba told David Letterman that she intends to keep that information private.

Ashley Tisdale Gets New Zealand Ready

“High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale paid a last minute visit to the local Los Angeles salon earlier today, enjoying a day of beauty as she prepares for her trip to New Zealand.

Wearing a light blue sweatsuit and carrying a Louis Vuitton bag, the 22-year-old actress braced herself for a legs waxing, followed up by a manicure and pedicure.

Meanwhile, filming for Ashley’s forthcoming film, They Came From Upstairs, started production this past Sunday and will shoot until April 18th, reports The New Zealand Herald.

The 22-year-old actress is planning on joining the rest of the cast and crew later this week, shooting scenes at a restored West Auckland manor house.

Wearing patent leather boots and toting along a leopard print suitcase, Rihanna stayed bundled up as she made her way through airport security at LAX airport earlier today .

The R&B superstar recently received the honor of being crowned the sexiest female musician by lingerie company Victoria’s Secret.

According to press reports, “The Bajan beauty topped the underwear specialist’s 2008 What’s Sexy? list, which is compiled by the company’s executives every year.”

Katie Holmes Lunches at Joan’s

Staying away from the spotlight since a recent week long press run in New York City for her new movie Mad Money, Katie Holmes popped out earlier today to grab a bite to eat at Joan’s on Third.

Dressed in a pair of jeans, a black top and a green scarf, Holmes made her way past photographers as she walked out of the popular Los Angeles eatery behind one of her hired security guards.

Meanwhile, Katie is once again the subject of baby rumors after recently being spotted purchasing a “Big Sister” T-shirt for her 21-month-old daughter Suri.

However, a source is now claiming that the Batman Begins actress has planned to shoot a movie and then have another child by the end of the year.

“She had it all figured out. She would shoot her new movie and then get pregnant,” told the insider, adding, “She was hoping to have the baby by the end of the year, go back to work next spring and have another film out by the end of 2009.”

Britney Spears Pulls An All-Nighter

After taking a spin in her new Mercedes Benz earlier in the evening, a British Britney Spears was up to her usual with Sam Lufti in the midst of her family allegedly trying to stage an intervention.

According to a source on the scene, “She kicked off the late night doings by checking into The Beverly Hills Hotel, emerging approximately two hours later at midnight donning a familiar pink wig and making her way to the local Rite Aid to pick up numerous items including the laxative Correctol.”

As the sun began to rise, “Spears made a pit stop at a Malibu gas station where she bought a mega case of Red Bull, and promptly began to down one upon returning to the passenger seat of her car.”

The source finishes off the recount of the night, telling: “By the time Spears made her way back to her Beverly Hills home the sun was bright in the sky and Britney seemed to be in a fighting mood, yelling and cursing at Sam to let her drive.”

Kate Moss Gets a New Roomie: Her Mother

In the digital age, it’s good to see that people are still using old fashioned ways of doing things. And Kate Moss showed her affinity for analog photos as she left Snappy Snaps in London with some film for her camera.

And it sounds like the supermodel has welcomed a new roommate into her luxurious new home - her own mother. Reportedly Kate hopes that having her mom Linda around will give her new pad a “family feel” and provide a more stable environment for her five-year-old daughter Lila Grace.

A source told press, “Kate wants a more stable home life, and thinks Linda will give her that. She recently turned 34 and wants to tone down the partying lifestyle. She will no doubt find it tough though.”

With her mom moving in, Kate will also have a live-in babysitter. “Linda will be helping to look after Lila Grace, but she will also make sure the new home doesn’t turn into a 24-hour party house, which it is in danger of becoming. She wants to make it a nice home for her granddaughter.”

“The house is being totally renovated at the moment, and Linda has been able to choose how her new room will look. It’s nothing fancy, but she has a massive luxury bathroom all to herself. She has moved all of her stuff into the house and the move will be as permanent as it has to be. Kate’s happy to have her there for as long as she wants.”

Victoria Beckham Promotes Her New Denim

As a follow-up to the Gossip Girls story about Victoria Beckham arriving in Boston earlier today, it seems she’s in town to promote her new denim line.

The Posh one was spotted at Saks Fifth Avenue in Bean Town doing press for DVB jeans. She posed for the paps, and even took time to take pictures with some very lucky fans.

Meanwhile, Victoria’s hubby, soccer stud David Beckham is much further south in Brazil getting ready to promote the first “David Beckham World of Sport.”

The new professional sports complex was reportedly designed and planned with his input, and is set for construction in a luxury resort to be built near the northeastern city of Natal.

He told press, “I am honored to be associated with this incredible project which will build world-class sporting facilities in Brazil, hopefully having a major impact at a local level and internationally.”

Kristin Cavallari’s Night at the Clubs

If you happened to be out on Hollywood Boulevard last night, you may have noticed Kristin Cavallari gallivanting around.

The paparazzi caught up to the “Laguna Beach” starlet as she was leaving the S Bar, on her way to the Cinaspace Club. And she was dressed to impress, with a black dress underneath a leather jacket and a pari of Yves Saint-Laurent shoes (they retail at $640!) and snagged black tights.

One thing Kristen won’t be wearing much longer is her “NZ” wrist tattoo. No, she’s not a fan of New Zealand, the “NZ” stands for Nick Zano, her ex-boyfriend.

According to a source, Cavallari has been visiting Dr. Frank Ryan (the same guy who did Heidi Montag’s breast augmentation and nose job) to receive laser treatments in order to remove the tattoo from her wrist. “It’s kind of painful, but she wants that thing off,” said the source.

Celebrity Baby Watch: Angelina Jolie

If you thought that Angelina Jolie had a little extra glow to her at Sunday night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards, it’s because she’s pregnant.

A source close to the “Girl, Interrupted” actress has confirmed to press that she is indeed pregnant, and could be possibly expecting twins this time around.

And it’s not like they weren’t planning on more kids. Last year, Brad Pitt told press they were nowhere near done having kids. “Hmm, it fluctuates between seven and 13 or 14… Four is kind of kicking our ass, but we kind of feel like, damn it, we’re up for the challenge!”

Although reps for both Jolie and Pitt are refusing to confirm or deny the pregnancy, an inside source reveals that Ang is planning on selling the confirmation and giving the money to charity.

According to a SAG Awards attendee, “It was so obvious she was pregnant. You could clearly see the bump’s outline.” Stay tuned to the Gossip Girls for the official word from Angelina Jolie’s camp.

After her marathon Monday night, a seemingly disheveled and distressed Britney Spears popped out earlier this morning with mother Lynne and manager Sam Lufti in tow.

According to a witness, “After spending twenty minutes in the parking lot, seemingly having a heated conversation, Britney emerged from her Cadillac Escalade in a see through lace top hastily covered by an inside out and backwards sweater.”

The insider continued: “Not in the mood for smiles she walked on, coffee cup and Kabbalah text in hand to perhaps wake up, car shop, and find spiritual guidance.”

Meanwhile, other sources tell that there is a strained relationship between Lufti and the Spears camp. “The family is staging an intervention so Britney can get help for her bipolar disorder. Family sources say they are furious at Lutfi, claiming he pushed Brit into going to B.H. Mercedes today to buy a new car - in the middle of the effort to save her.”
